        • So - 11:33 AM rolls around and that inevitable question starts to rumble in our stomachs - "Where are we going for lunch today?"

We decided to venture off to what we hear is one of the best taco stands in Dallas, Texas. Now, don't get us wrong - we've had our fair share of dining at what each of us thinks is THE best taco stand in Dallas. We've eaten mostly everywhere - from some of the finer Mexican restaurants in Dallas to the more economic options that cater to faster food. Today, we decided to try Tacos El Guero, located near downtown Dallas. Located off of Ross Avenue, the taco stand is located at 4500 Bryan Street.

Voted "The Best Taco Stand" of 2009 by the Dallas Observer, this hidden treasure truly gives you the "Mexican taco stand" feel complete with bottled Coca-Cola's, homemade salsa and friendly cooks that make sure you eat all you can with a big smile on your face.

Since the taco stand is rather small, we decided to eat outside.

Check out the Dallas Observer's review below:

"If you've been searching for an authentic taco stand with tasty morsels that rival those served up at Fuel City but do so in a more authentic atmosphere that conjures rural Mexico, this is your place. The tacos al pastor boast just the right amount of spice and generous amounts of cilantro, and the beef and chorizo are up to par too. The more adventurous taco connoisseurs can opt for the tongue or tripas, and as convenience would have it, there's a liquor store next door where you can grab a Corona or Negra Modelo to wash it all down."

Then, to complete our authentic Mexican lunch, we decided to head over to a local PaleterĂa where we all got "El Diablitos" that consist of shaved ice, topped with lime juice, salt and chile powder.

Just another delicious lunch at the office. Thank you, Tacos El Guero - where "El Guero lo hace todo."
