        • CINCO was recently asked to conduct a photoshoot for one of our new clients. After discussing their needs and tight timeline, we decided to partner with a local Dallas photographer with whom we knew could help us pull off this quick project.

The photoshoot consisted of using one model and 14 different looks. The challenge was that the model had to be photographed in the exact same pose for all wardrobe changes in order to get the final look we were going for. The ultimate goal was to end up with a series of photographs that we could then morph, edit, adapt and change (depending on the medium in which the photograph would be used).

Once the photographer was booked, we then had a collaborative meeting where we invited the client, photographer, creative teams and production crew. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the overall goal and look for the shoot. Since time was limited, we wanted to make sure that everyone was clear on the approach and vision for the shoot prior to casting, wardbrobe, etc.

Once the vision was established, we then moved into casting. The client wanted relatively unknown talent, so we challenged ourselves to exhaust every medium possible in order to get the model with the exact look we were wanting. That meant not only reaching out to local casting agencies, but also to cast through various online sites, social networking mediums and word-of-mouth. After countless emails, head shots and video submissions, we found the model we were looking for.

Next on the agenda was wardrobe. The client also wanted authentic clothing and gear, so we reached out to local schools and sports clubs for their help with obtaining clothing, props and accessories.

After 3 wardrobe fittings, and 5 trips to our local sporting goods store - we were ready. A consultant was hired and both hair and make-up specialists were set. The night of the shoot, we started prepping at 4:00 PM with enough time to test lighting, angles, equipment, etc.

The model arrived and was rushed into hair and make-up as the first shot was set-up. Our stylists were on-hand to expedite the wardrobe changes and the first shot was taken at 5:30 PM.

We finished just around midnight before tearing-down the set and wrapping up the shoot. A huge thank you to our Photographer, Consultant, Hair and Make-up Team, Stylists, Art Director, Creative team and Producer.
